So I am continuing to integrate fiber optics into my 40k minis, and so far have been very successful. I am in the process of making a GSC army. So I figured, why not start with the HQs. Now my plan is to integrate fiber optics in the more genestealer like models, or the models that are more alien/characters. The goal will be to light up the eyes of these types of models and have a very coherent army. Yeah... it sounds like a lot of work... and it is. But, I am making some good progress, and figured to show you some of my stuff. Eventually, I plan to create some tutorial videos on how I did this work.

Here are some pics of my latest progress:

Oh my goodness how cool.

looks fiddlier than a fiddler crap to get those into the normal guys eye sockets.

Oh yeah... the holes for a single strand is 0.3mm. Requires to hand drill very precisely. Then to run the fibers with out kinking them through the body is another huge challenge. I think I got the entire process down though... maybe.

That is awesome, I bought some fiber optic a while ago, but haven't tried it yet.

I would like to see a tutorial if you are up for that challenge. Those are some great looking models and well painted to. Excellent work.
