Okay, firstly I'm not sure which Forum this should go in, but as it's primarily a rules question, Mods please feel free to move this if it's in the wrong place.

Question, do Space Wolves Dreadnaughts, all varieties, have a chance of exploding when they lose their last wound?

I've checked the FaQs relevant to them but couldn't find anything.

So I'm hoping that I've missed something along the way and some of the well read members here can direct me to a source and page clarifying the situation.

Cheers

Andrew

It will depend on the datasheet for the unit in question.

The Dreadnought and Venerable Dreadnought datasheets for example have the 'Explodes' ability, though Bjorn the Fell-Handed and Murderfang do not.

They have the rules on their datasheet.

Not that helpful. What rules on what datasheets?

So it appears that Bjorn and the Murderfang do not explode. Heres' hoping that that will be picked up and addressed in later publications.

If it's not on the datasheet or errata then they don't explode. It's perfectly reasonable to think that GW made the Named Dreadnoughts special. There has been no errata to the contrary so by definition it's intended.
