Hello all! I’ve been leaning towards the Greater Good for a while now and with the advent of the new codex and all the really cool stuff T’au have gotten recently I’ve been brainstorming lists that I’d like to play.

I’ve put together what I think is a decent, semi-competitive list that definitely has some teeth but would love some insight from more experienced T’au players.

The idea of this list is pretty much pure board control.
The 2 Ghostkeels and the 3 Stealth teams push far into the mid field to position for alpha strikes.
The combination of 24 inch Fusion Colliders on the Bork’an Keels and the rerollalbe hits from the Sa’cea Fusions seem like a great first punch.
The 3 Commanders speak for themselves in this regard.

I love the idea of playing with all of the auxiliary races the T’au army can muster and now with the codex they all seem to have some merit.
Cheap Vespid dropping into cover late are awesome.
40 screening Kroot with a scout move and rerolling 1s to wound in shooting and combat are a small threat but they do need to be dealt with eventually.
Hounds are a cheap screen as well and can counter charge, they also reroll 1s to wound from the Shaper with a -1ap to boot!

I think I’ve got enough Markerlight support with 16 available plus the insane Sa’cea stratagem and the other uplink stratagem.

The Ethereal is fun too but I think he'll be better on the table than on paper. The 6+ FnP for the blobs of Kroot will be pretty cool i think.
He can keep up with them on his little hover board.

Looks well varried in terms of offense, lots of bodies to move though

That's not true. Any character can have the free relic.

Yeah I always thought the relic just had to be on a character in the same detachment as the warlord.

Either way, it would be easy to put it on the warlord if an event ruled it that way.

I don"t have an issue with a high model count, I think the list will take a ton of casualties which is fine because most things are distraction units.
My other armies are pretty elite so it would be a cool change to play a mobile horde opposed to an elite castle list.
