I don't mean point cost. I already own two heldrakes, and i'm curious if a hell blade is really worth the money, or if it would just be mildly redundent?Or furthermore, is it stronger than the Heldrake?
Cheap-ish. Very fast and very manouverable. Could make a good character sniper. More shots on average than a heldrake, but they don't auto-hit and it takes a move penalty. Certainly much softer, but -1 to hit.
It's a bit of a toss up. I think I prefer the Heldrake more.

Heldrakes also got a stratagem to reroll basically everything, and regens wounds...Yeeeaaah. The more I compare the two, the less I want the talon.
I went through a similar thought process. I ended up getting the HD on a good deal second hand. But I came to the conclusion that the HD was gonna be the best 'all around' choice. If you want a flyer that shoots a lot, fire raptor or storm eagle is what I'd pick. Or if you can get a Xyphon cheap, that would be a good choice as well.
