CMON’s next Flash Kickstarter is coming up next month for Kick-Ass: The Board Game, based on the incredible comic series by Mark Millar and John Romita Jr. In the game, players take on the roles of masked vigilantes straight from the pages of the comic – including Kick-Ass, Hit-Girl, Big Daddy, and more – who are trying to keep New York City safe while maintaining their personal lives. This fully-cooperative experience lets you step into the shoes (and tights) of these characters as they go up against some of the worse-of-the-worst villains, like the Red Mist, across five different plots.

Keep your eyes open (and your costumes close) because Kick-Ass: The Board Game hits Kickstarter from June 25 to June 29. well it looks very much like CMON is going full KS as this was originally planned as a retail release when they were trailing it last year

Krosmaster USA loses all support immediately after it is bought from Japanime, HATE gets an extremely limited release, Arcadia and Zombicide get space themed crap and now this and Arcadia pets with limited window.

The Dakka Dakka galleries are what CMON used to be but now look at it. I liked basic Zombicide and Kaosball and wanted to complete the retail collections but with the way things are going.....

Not as far as I am aware. CMON have just been showing it at conventions for a couple of years.

I still have not gotten my rising sun pledge and several enquiries have not been answered. I really hope CMON doesn't slide back into it's horrible early 2000's mode of stealing customers money and never replying

have you visited the pledge manager and checked that you actually 'locked' your pledge?

generally the majority of those with totally missing pledged find out they haven't (or find out that the pledge was unlocked again for some reason, either by them or some sort of computer glitch)

If this is the case lock/confirm it and shipping should happen (unlike those abroad who'd have to pay extra to have stuff ship from the USA)

other than that I've found that CMON customer serviced rarely actually responds to queries/missing stuff requests by email (or even automated responses), but the stuff eventually shows up so hopefully you'll be the same

Well I guess that their first flash KS (arcadia quest riders) might not have done as well as hoped for (to much work for too little reward compared to full sized KS projects I wonder?)as this one is now back to the original plan of retail only

This superhero business can be tricky! Sometimes, even the best laid plans can be upended by a natural disaster, an evil villain’s plot, or even simple timing. With CMON’s busy production schedule in 2018, we didn’t feel that we could do justice to a Kickstarter campaign for Kick Ass: The Board Game. The decision has been made for this cooperative adventure to go directly to retail.
