Quick question - how would you paint the helmets for Rainbow Warriors sergeants? Because they're all meant to have the rainbow stripe down the middle of their helmets I didn't think I could do the traditional red helmets, and while the Veteran Sergeant has the skull on his helmet, how else can I differentiate my sergeants from the rest of my Primaris Marines?

Different coloured line? Or perhaps an insignia on the helmet, or forget all that and give them marking elsewhere such as shoulder pads arms etc, different coloured gauntlets.

For mother Soviet scotland oh and I like orcs

You could go old school and put hash marks across the stripe, at least the central one. That’s what the standard was before the red helmet concept.

You can probably google RT helmets stripes for better official pictures, but here is a comparison shot I took a bit ago of some of mine.

Basic stripe for a basic trooper.
Parallel lines in a secondary color for vets
Hashed line for sarges
Both parallel and hashed for vet sarge.

With Rainbow Warriors things are going to be more complex, as they have multiple stripes to start with, but you could incorporate the cross hatching for the sarge.

YMMV, just tossing ideas out.

Ah, I see. Looks cool but I'm not sure how I'd do that with the rainbow - maybe white lines across the rainbow stripe or a white helmet, maybe white piping along the rim of the shoulder pad?

I've got a link to the warrior I did this morning below, where else could I make changes for the Sergeant?
