Why Aye Ya Canny Dakkanaughts!

Has anyone ever modeled their characters with the heads of fallen enemies? I'm thinking of adorning my Custodes Bike Captain with the heads of Characters he has defeated in CQC but I'm wondering if that might make the model look a bit cluttered.

Tons of Chaos Models have pikes with heads of fallen enemies on them. My only worry about putting them on Custodes is it's generally used as a "Chaosy" aesthetic choice. If you want to bash some together yourself, all the chaos terminators and chaos space marines lieutenants, and rhinos come with the spikes. You could snipe them, put chaos up the helmets so they aren't normal marines, and snipe the barb on top for something more imperial on top, like an eagle or something.

Well my Custodes have a bit more of a Chaosy theme anyway, see my latest gallery pics for what I mean.

They certainly are.

You have a Cadian crucified on a battlestandard.

I would recommend picking up the skull pack from citadel, and modelling skulls bound through the eyes with rope or chains, then having them trail the bike like streamers from the fairings. The direction of the rope/chain will give the mdoel a string sense of movement, like a flag caught in the wind.

There are a good selection of xeno skulls to make sure your captain looks like he's being doing the Emperors work rather than just murdering citizens on his day off.

Yeah, I looked at your models and that poor Cadian trooper must have had it pretty rough. I think some chaos spikes would be exactly what you're looking for. I personally like the backpack spikes on the old pewter chaos lord. It's got two spikes on it, one with a skull and the other a space marine helmet.
