If fully stripped down before it goes in a small domestic ultrasonic cleaner, which components are you suggesting are at risk?

I've genuinely not heard of anyone having any issues, and they're even fine for waterproof watches.....

If you're having issues with your nozzle clogging up, did you ever consider using a bigger nozzle/needle combination? I kind of had the same problem as you did and was adviced to switch from my 0.2 nozzle/needle to as 0.4. Haven't had any issues since then, as I don't paint very small details anyway (and I most likely wouldn't have the skill for it, yet, anyway).

The airbrush body can form micro-cracks which then can become larger over time. I've seen a color cup break completely off an Iwata from repeated ultrasonic use. In fact, Ken (the owner of Badger Airbrushes) has repeatedly told people on social media and in appearances to avoid using an ultrasonic cleaner for those exact reasons.

They're sending posters that have lots of problems, and they're bringing those problems with us. They're bringing strawmen. They're bringing spam. They're trolls. And some, I assume, are good people."
