I can easily fit in 5 Gallants under 2000 with some points for a battalion of IG.
5 Gallants are worse than 3 Knights with Guns. 1 Melee knight among 4 other shooty knights is good. A team full of melee knight is very bad. IK guns are very points expensive.
Rule of 3 does not allow more than 3 Questoris Knights.
Is the datasheet of a Gallant different than a Errant, Paladin, Warden?

1999pts of 5 IK

1 Gallant
1 Errant, guantlet
1 Paladin
2 Warden

I need help on how to spend CP to get which Warlord Traits and Heirlooms.

Gallants are better in that they have 2+WS and an extra attack. I'm not sure 5 would be efficient, perhaps 2 backed up by a Crusader and either 2x Wardens or Errants.

Each knight has its own datasheet so you are limited to just 3 gallants but 3 gallants +3 warden is fine so your list is legal

Essentially you want landstrider to get your knights into melee

Sacred ion and ion bulwalk are always good for survivability

Endless fury is solid on a warden

After that id go for either sacristan on the other warden or give a gallant knight seneschal i wouldnt take a third relic because the CP are too valuable

No. The rule of 3 is only a suggestion. Unless players agree to use it, or its a tournament rule he can play 5 gallants.

Why Aye Ya Canny Dakkanaughts!

The only must I'd say is to give the Gallant the +1 invul warlord trait and the Paragon Gauntlet and just push forward aggressively with him; he'll weather a hell of a lot of fire (rotate ion shields each turn to give him a 3++) and your opponant will have to shoot at him unless they want half their army blown up or held in CQC by the end of turn 2.

A suggestion that everyone uses as they clearly do because they are asking the question. Whatever GW set as the recommended tournament rules are the standard rules people build to.

Of course you are free to play solo...which is what will happen if you don't agree to it. You have higher chance of running into group disallowing premeasurement than allow more than 3 datasheets

The way strategems and relics works 1 gallant can just about work though not best. Second will be much worse though with 3rd worse than 2nd. I would thus stick with 1, 2 at most and even 2nd more due to not having points for better

We usually play without beta and without suggestion rules at our FLGS.

I forget the name of the stratergem. But running one of your knights into close combat, which ties up a lot of other units, but not your knight, then when it gets droped using the explodes on a 4+ stratergem is useful for taking down tge remnants of units. I play a friend who uses this with his Amrigers all the time to good effect.
