I'd like to know more about the game system before I drop $25 on a .pdf. Do you have any gameplay or character creation videos? The 6 page quick preview on DriveThruRPG basically conveys no information other than you've got some nice art pieces.

I think there's not much information on which to form an opinion. And I think that $25 might be a bit too much to ask for with so little information, no name as a designer and apparently no other releases.

Maybe a quickstart or something like that would be in order?

Agreed. The great thing about paper copy books in a FLGS is you can generally flip through them to get an initial impression, but if you're trying to sell .pdfs, you can't, so there has to be secondary sources of information (YouTube, 3rd party reviews) about the system and/or setting, or it has to be cheap enough to drop speculation money on. Especially given how many RPG systems are out there these days!

There is a link on the DriveThru page to the OP's web site where there are descriptions of the races and classes in the game, but not much info on the system itself. However, it was enough for me to decide that the game isn't for me.

It seems at first glance, which is all we get, to be different for the sake of difference.
That, and the terrible female armor has me passing.

Hey everyone, my apologies for the semi-late reply.

The mechanics work as such:

You have eight primary stats that correspond to different actions that you make. An action you take has a difficulty level (usually 20-25), you need your total score to be above this.

You simply roll a d20 and add the level of the stat to the score on the dice.

In combat you use stamina points, most actions costing 1 stamina each. You can also make a free reaction each combat round, and further reactions cost extra stamina. You can also use stamina to boost your rolls, and the effects are cumulative.

Damage is applied automatically, so its only a single set of rolls.

There has also been a price drop.

Thanks for the feedback everyone, I will add some more details on the mechanics on the website and sales page.

Cheers!

A d20+ stat can be very swingy. What is an average stat range for a character?

These are my opinions. This is how I feel. Others may feel differently. This needs to be stated for some reason.

10-15 But you can max out at 17/18 pretty early.

Armour varies between 25-28 most commonly, but you can boost your attack rolls by spending stamina.

Damage is automated, so you always know how much damage you are doing - damage is reduced by damage resistance.
