Looks kinds of nice. $75 isn't too bad either. Promises that it folds up with no wrinkles or problems.

So it's a large piece of teddy bear fur with a road chopped/painted into it? Seems a bit much for $75.

These style tables look really good but can be absolute hell to play on sometimes. Make sure you have a dice rolling tray nearby, and your minis are heavy or - as pictured - based on regiment trays, etc.

It is great for pictures and photos, less than ideal for gaming from my personal experience. Sure does look pretty. Not sure it's $75 pretty for modifying a sheet of fabric though.

Any word on how these can be stored? Do they roll up?

You can buy five foot wide Teddy Bear fabric for $15-$25 per yard, depending on the quality. The markup to have all the work done for you is negligible; certainly less than my own time is worth if I was on the market for one. I also do not possess the ability to dye the fur. I'm sure you could use paint, as you suggested, but they do not use paint or sprays, so that their mats would be far more durable (and less stank) than one you're suggesting making.

It's one of those things where I buy premade paints as I don't feel like mixing pigment and acrylic polymer emulsion, though I am sure it's "cheaper" in the end to make your own paint, I do not have the capability nor desire to do that. Same with gaming mats.

I've done the painted fur route, and it looks amazing, but it is VERY time consuming. The amount of combing necessary is crazy given how many different layers you have to do. It's also difficult to get the right shade of fur to start with, which can really affect how it looks.

Their price is pretty reasonable given my own experiments with faux fur.

That said, his point on basing/weight is spot on. The fur is not going to like plastic models on plastic bases, they will tip over/sit funny.
