Just in case I’ve missed something somewhere in FAQ Land...

There’s no problem with deploying a Watch Captain via Teleport Strike then shunting a unit across the board via the Beacon Angelis to screen him in the same turn, is there? Both are ‘at the end of Movement Phase’ abilities so reads as legal to me, sequencing etc.

Assume I know all about Big FAQ and Beta Rules restrictions on when/where I can do this... it’s the legality of the combo of 1) teleport Character then 2) teleport dudes to him I’m interested in.

(Background: I’ve made a pretty Inquisitor model, a remake of the ancient metal cyberleg guy, and none of the Inquisitorial Datasheets represent him. A Watch Captain works... the Needler/Bolter combi-weapon can be represented by a Storm Bolter with SIA, and a Power Fist with Meltagun represents his Digital Lasers in a very killy way. I have no transports for the few DW I have, so it seems a fun and surprising way to get them into my army as an allied detachment then leapfrog the Veterans across the board.)

It's 100% legitimate by my reading. As you mentioned, "Sequencing" kicks in - and as there are no FAQ's modifying this specific combination to date - I'd say give'r bud.

Think its fine - just be aware that as you place the character first any "intercept" abilities like Forewarned / Auspex Scan etc will be able to target the character as they are "immediate". Its the same type of scenario for the Necron relic "Veil of Darkness" where you have to place the character first and then the squad within 6".
