I'm still not sold on voidweavers, and you already have 15x haywire. I also think that soaring spite is a bit wasted if you only have 1x FP per squad.

My suggestion would be another troupe, and giving 2/3 FPs per squad. You also probably want to drop the FP on the Troupe Master if he takes the starmist as you need to advance to use it, and can't use the FP if you do

From a purely competitive standpoint. Pure Harlies is extremely simple. Couple Troupe Masters, a shadow seer. and jam as many haywire bikes and starweavers full of fusion pistol/caress troupes as possible.

Well we just wanted a bit of variety tbh and I grt what ya mean but we have had a few games now and the voidweavers have been dark horses being bale to provide a little bit of back line support

As for the fusion pistols we saw it as if it a full squad of 5 fusions we lose alot of points per model went with the same premance as kabal it warriors in venom one blaster/fusion per squad because the fusion just seems like a lot to dump on a whole unit where as if we need to protect the fusion pistol we can by removing lesser models

Once again as we said gone for a bit of variety and the voidweavers can offer a bit of back line protection

1x FP is a better choice than 5x FP in my opinion, for all the reasons you state. My preferred is still 2x or 3x FPs (2x if I have 4+ troupes working in teams, 3x if I have less), but if you want just 1x or maybe even if you take 2x, then I would seriously question the choice of Soaring Spite. Just to clarify the masque form:

"Models with this form that can FLY, or that are embarked upon a TRANSPORT that can FLY, treat all Pistol weapons they are equpped with as Assault 1 weapons during a turn in which they (or the transport they are embarked upon) Advanced." I.e. they only can advance and fire when embarked in a 'weaver.

At the moment you have 35 points per troupe tied up in combat weapons, and 9 points in shooting (4:1). That speaks to me of a unit that wants to fight not a unit that wants to snipe from a vehicle. Also, 1x FP has around a 50% of doing any damage, and if you fail to kill your just an expensive paper boat that's 6" or less away from something nasty enough to warrant fusion fire. It seems to me that making this detachment Frozen Stars as well makes a lot more sense (which also means that the Shadowseer's Shield from Harm can actually give you some benefit).

I understand the want for variety, and that Voidweavers aren't terrible. If you're sticking with them though you may want to switch to the prismatic cannon if you want this to be a TAC list. Although haywire is better, you currently could face some very bad match ups where you have so many points in a gun that is great against vehicles but worse than a Shuirken cannon against everything else. You'll make a knight player cry, but against hordes or bikes you are massively handicapped.

I'm not a big fan of Voidweavers, I feel like you're better off putting in some extra bikes or Death Jestures in there
