Currently thinking of making an all Primaris army but also trying to stick with the lore.

Title says it, other than (for obvious reasons) Ultima Founding Chapters and Ultramarines-

Is there a chapter which utilize Primaris marines as like their backbone of their army (or similar)?
And lore behind that chapter would be great

Obviously Ultramarines. Also check out the Primaris launch video. Got lots of chapters that were erased and restored through Primaris marines.

I'd probably say most Chapters now use lots of Primaris. Especially ones which suffered massive casualties, like the Blood Angels and Crimson Fists.

They/them

I was under the impression the Crimson fists were majorly replenished by primaris marines, the Imperial Fists proper were also at ground zero for their unveiling and feature ptomenantly in primaris marine art, in particular I imagine the 3rd company after the battle of the Phalanx suffered particularly heavily.

Guiliman also split off 'dozens' of successor primaris chapters with Imperial Fists leading them.

Blood Angels. they took HEAVY loses at Baal. Primaris Marines now account for over 60% of the chapter.

Opinions are not facts please don't confuse the two

I'd imagine Blood Ravens needed a lot of them after fighting off a WAAAGH, Hive Fleet, and Black Legion invasion all at once combined with that civil war issue they had on top of it...

In terms of the OG legions I think Blood Angels would have one of the higher percentages of primaris just because there were hardly any of them left after recent events and needed the boost the most. The majority of the successor chapters that are made entirely of primaris marines are Ultramarines successors, though. My favorite is the Sons of the Phoenix though, allegedly an IF successor that is just. Utterly and completely blatant in actually being Emperor's Children.

I do not know the details but supposebly SW needed a refill after 1000 sons fighting.

SW also has the outflank stratagem. Good with primaris.
