A quick check says 3rd edition. It's not in the 2nd edition Ultramarines Codex, but it might have been somewhere in a supplement I don't remember/know about.

Not in the Angels of Death 2nd ed codex. 3rd sounds right to me.

Definitely not 2nd, and I remember them when I was playing a bit of 3rd into 4th. So that sounds about right - the original being a set of metal add-on pieces you glued to the normal plastic land speeder (which was definitely a 3rd edition model)

Thanks.
In prepping my Space Wolves for a return to duty I found a baggy of metal Typhoon parts in the bottom of their case - along with the faded note: "Use - ?"
So what, right?
Well, my wolves are a RT/2e force. Other than a few 3e+ bases & some metal shoulder pads, I don't use 3e+ models/parts in this army. Evidently I picked up Typhoon bits along about 10 years back or so & wasn't sure then if they were 2e or not.

The Typhoon is the one with the rocket pods, yes?

The 1st and 2nd edition Land Speeders - with two weapons - are what's now the Land Speeder Tornado.
