Subject: Adding more Chaos marines: What are some iconic DG, EC and WE units?

So I've been thinking of adding a Tsons Occult Marine to my collection, but I don't want to do this unless I can find options that fit for other 3 alignments for DG, EC and WEs.
For reference, here is what I have so far:
For the aligned legions I have:
Tsons - Rubric/Icon bearer, Sorcerer on disc, various Horrors of Tz
Emperors Children - Noise Marine/Icon bearer, Havoc/Blast master, Daemonette
Death Guard - Plague Marine/Icon bearer, Terminator, Plaguebearer/nurging
World Eaters - Berzerker/Icon bearer, Raptor, Bloodletter
If I add an Occult Termie, I'll need 1 model for the other 3 to keep the balance.
Potentially, my Crimson Slaughter bike can fit Khorne, but I'd like some more ideas that fit the themes I've already got.
Thoughts?

Well there are the death guard terminators already.
you got the occult terminator for tsons.
World lickers have butchers from the HH
and the EC has phoenix terminators in HH.
if you are sticking to the terminator theme.

Yeah, I had that thought and I already have a DG Termie, so adding 1 for each would be nice symmetry. But what would I add to DG to give it the same number of models as the others? Also, I want to stay in the 40K era, so do those HH units have equivalents? -

Ah. Well, they'd probably be something like the Salamander Fire Drakes that got rolled into the Chapter's 1st company. So the remnants of the Butchers and Phoenix termies are likely just generic termies with a bit more flourish. I can work with that. It also makes getting a single Occult termie easier as I can convert one out of the generic Chaos termie box. Or should I get Cataphartii Termies since their armour matched HH and Occult termines better? Still need to figure out what to add to the DG since I already have a Termie and adding more to the others creates imbalance among them. -

Alternativly you could just make HQ units for each with weapons they would most likely use. kopeck/staff tsons axe for WE sword/glave for EC scythe for DG all in terminator armor of various marks.

Another option I could pursue, even though it'd be heresy even for Chaos, would be to replace my Disc Sorcerer with an Occult Terminator Sorceror....on disc. One of the uses I have for my CSM models is as chess pieces. Infantry marines are Pawns, Havocs are Bishops, Raptors are Knights, Terminators are Rooks, Infantry Lord is the King and Sorcerer on Disc is the Queen. I'll need to make sure the Occult Sorcerer is on disc to set it apart from the Rook Termies. I know Terminator Sorcerers cannot be on Discs, but it's Chaos, so they can do whatever them want. -

Forge World sells a World Eaters Terminator Conversion Set
https://www.forgeworld.co.uk/en-WW/World-Eaters-Terminators-Conversion-Set
As for EC, you could build a Terminator Sorceror from the Terminator box, give him a Staff from the Daemonettes box and a Daemonette on a leash? Dollar-store jewellery is handy for such things.

I'm giving serious thought to a WE Mutilator, but I already have an Iron Warriors Oblit, which is more fluffy than an Emporers Children Oblit (despite both being able to be Slaanesh) For the EC Terminator, I'd likely just go with Reaper Autocannon. -

kopeck/staff tsons
axe for WE
sword/glave for EC
scythe for DG
all in terminator armor of various marks.
Rather than make terminator lords, I could have HQs mounted on daemonic steads.
I already have a Tson Sorcerer on disc, so I could still add and Occult Termie
For DG - HQ on Palanquin
For WE - HQ on Bloodcrusher
For EC - HQ on steed on Slaanesh
All with the proposed weapons as you suggest.
The only issue with this idea is cost as I would need to bitz order just about everything and convert, rather than just get a Terminator box

So I am revisiting this idea and definitely want to have a Terminator for all the Chaos aligned Legions. I'll be converting these from the generic Chaos Terminator set, but giving them the aesthetics of their iconic Terminator units. --Tsons "Occult" will have a fancy combi-bolter and powersword (converted from either a Lizardmen sword or Eldar Wraithguard sword) and a stripped head piece around a generic Space Marine helmet painted with gold trim --World Eaters "Red Butcher" will have a Khorne head piece, lightning claw on one hand, power axe in the other. --Emperor's Children "Phoenix" will have a fancy glaive (likely coverted using an Eldar power sword on a pole) and a combi-bolter and a golden wing on the left pauldron. I already have the Death Guard Terminator with scythe and combi-flamer (plague spewer) So that gives me a 40mm based Terminator for each legion. I have 25mm Troop marines for each, and 32mm non-Troops for all but the DG (since originally the Terminator filled the "special" roll). So my question is: What 32mm based DG Marine would be equivalent to a WE Rapter, EC Havoc or TS Sorcerer on disc? I am thinking something like a Champion or other Elite, since the other 3 legions have an HQ, Fast and Heavy. I am also thinking I need to really push the mutation/tentacles aesthetic as I do not yet portray that with my current DG models. Any suggestions for wargear? The left arm will most likely be a tentacle arm from the Terminator set. But for the right arm, should I give him a Plasma gun or flail? -

Death Guard don't really have elite units besides the two types of terminators and support characters. You could try any of the characters - Biologous Putrefier, Plague Surgeon, Noxious Blightbringer, Tallyman or Foul Blightspawn, All are very characteristic Death Guard models. Otherwise, you could go for the plague champion that's sold separately, he allows for more customization that most other plague marine models.

7 Ork facts people always get wrong:
Ragnar did not win against Thrakka, but suffered two crushing defeats within a few days of each other.
A lasgun is powerful enough to sever an ork's appendage or head in a single, well aimed shot.
Orks meks have a better understanding of electrics and mechanics than most Tech Priests.
Orks actually do not think that purple makes them harder to see. The joke was made canon by Alex Stewart's Caphias Cain books.
Gharkull Blackfang did not even come close to killing the emperor.
Orks can be corrupted by chaos, but few of them have any interest in what chaos offers.
Orks do not have the power of believe. |

Just to clarify, I'll be converting this model using existing bitz I have or can get easily. But I do like your guidance of the support characters. If they are indeed Elites, I'll try to make some of their aesthetics match in the same way as my DG Terminator has aesthetic from both types of DG terminator. It'll be a Plague Champion Surgeon Blightbringerspawn. Probably with flail and plasma -

I got my Chaos Termies done:
https://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/765973.page#10208337
I don't have a picture yet of the Death Guard "special", but I went with a Character with a flamer/spewer and a tentacle arm and bloated stomach armour. I'll get pics of all 4 god-aligned Legions later this week
