How does an Archon pass wounds off to a sslyth bodyguard? Let's say an Archon gets hit with 2x AP-2 / d3 Dmg attacks, and he fails his first 2++ save. Does the opponent roll the damage and then wounds (damage) are passed off are passed off one at a time, or does the wound get passed before the damage roll and thus reduced to a single mortal wound?

The rule says each time a Frindly Archon loses a wound. So for multi damage weapons you roll the damage 1st then pass the wounds one by one (ex: a roll of 3 would mean you can pass up to 3 wounds to your Sslyth)

Only T'au Drones get to do that. Other bodyguards always eat all the of the damage of a multi-damage weapon.

Thanks all. I figured this was the way to play it, but I wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something.
