The Bay Area Open 2019 Registration is now open!

An Independent Warhammer Event, part of the KublaCon Convention

May 23rd through the 26th, 2019

Crowne Plaza Hotel, Burlingame, CA (right near SFO)

Registration Opens October 1st, 2018

The BAO is back and better than ever! Our first event and what started it all for us at Frontline Gaming is now a part of the KublaCon Convention! This means not only more space to accommodate all of those that miss out due to it filling up but also it means we can host Age of Sigmar events, and one day events, too! We are very excited to see who will earn their place on the coveted Belt of Russ and Shield of Sigmar this year. Will it be you?

We recommend grabbing tickets quickly as this event (particularly the 40k Championships portion) tends to sell out VERY fast. We have more room this year but you don’t want to risk missing out.

In the Bay Area Open 2019 Narrative Event players will join a faction fighting to determine the destiny of a planet in the Gandus System in the Segmentum Obscurus, a system on the brink of total collapse as the forces of Chaos fight to open a new warp rift within the sector. Working together, players will participate in a series of games based on a narrative crafted by the victories and defeats of the factions at the event. Unique scenarios will be provided with special twists and effects based on the setting. Ultimately, one faction will reign supreme, but there is always a cost, and nothing is ever as it seems in the Gandus System… (This will be a continuation of the general storyline followed in the Las Vegas Open and SoCal Open Events.)

Sorry for the Necro but I didn't see a new thread...

I have a couple of rules questions for the BAO and was also wondering when the list submission deadline is. Is there an official email or some point of contact?

The list submission window has been open for a week, my guess closing tonight, Sunday, right around the time GoT fans are finished tearing their hair out on the (predicted) horrible finish to the show.

We allowed to make small changes still? For example I want to take one unit and keep it exactly the same just move it into another detachment.

I'm still compiling the after action report. Takes us a few days to get back up to speed after these long events, plus travel time, then playing catch up on normal work, etc.
