I wanna try making my own ramen.. mostly just going to be chicken broth with some meat and veggies mixed in .. but, where do you get plain ramen noodles? I looked in my grocery store and they had chinese noodles, rice noodles, udon noodles and more.. when I google ramen noodles, all I can find are the cheapy packets. Is there a specific kind of noodle used in ramen, that's not called a ramen noodle? If so what should I look for?
Or am I better off using he cheapy ramen packets for the noodles, but just using my own homemade broth?

Those cheapy packets work just fine. Just throw out the seasoning and use the noodles. That is what most people I know do.
Like Desubot said, they are special noodles. Alkaline noodles. I am no expert on noodles but Ramen is the only thing I have ever heard this kind of noodle being used for.

Never heard of Alkaline noodles.. store definitely didn't have them. Can I make my own if I just dunk spagetti in battery acid?
I'll just stick to the cheap packets for the noodles then

Take a packet of ramen noodles, the cheap stuff. I recommend roast chicken but other flavors may suit your taste better. Roast beef works well. The chilli flavored ramen is not recommended.
Smash the noodles up into small pieces no more that 1/⁴" in any dimension.
Take 3 large eggs, break into bowl, whisk to an even mix.
Add 1 tablespoon water, maybe a bit more.
Mix pulverized noodles and flavor packet into egg mix. Stir it up well.
Pour results into non stick trying pan or an oiled pan. Turn on beat to medium.
Optionlly tear up a a slice of cheese and push pieces into the mix spread out around it.
Cook till somewhat firm, flip over and cook another couple minutes.
Transfer to plate and consume . It will generally be somewhat dry, but very tasty.
