So I never actually read the story... what actually happened to Cadia?

(I like to think it didn't really blow up and it was just swallowed by the warp with guardmen now eternally defending it.)

Abaddon crashed a Blackstone Fortress into it, causing the planet then began tearing itself apart in tectonic upheaval. Creed stood his ground with the Cadian 8th as the last of the defenders left the dying world, shouting "Cadia Stands!" to the skies.

Those watching knew that the Planet broke before the Guard did.

Also, a group of Aeldari Ynnari assisted with the e-vac. You're welcome, Mon-Keigh

Pretty sure they helped the splinter group of Celestine, Marshall Amalrich, Cawl and Greyfax off of a different planet that they diverted to after the Fall of Cadia, in order to prevent the Black Legion from destroying the refugee fleet.

How does the Mon-Keigh saying go? "Potato, tomato"?

His role in the first book was some of my favorite bits of the story. I know New cron fluff still gets hate but using them as an almost semi selfish wildcard was hilarious.

I am hoping he sets Creed free again sometime, we need MORE unaugmented human characters not less
