Sorry if this is the wrong thread as I know you can't ask questions on the rumours forum but does anyone have any idea if there are any rumours of WE's release?

Only one I heard was a similar release to DG, including Angry Ron, as part of some big royal rumble campaign amongst various factions - notably Orks.

This made everyone go that it would be an Armageddon based campaign - WEs have prior with Armageddon - but the way the Vigilus campaign is going makes me reconsider that theory.

Please note, for those of you who play Chaos Daemons as a faction the term "Daemon" is potentially offensive. Instead, please play codex "Chaos: Mortally Challenged". Thank you.

World Eaters won't be any time soon. Slaanesh (and therefore, Emperor's Children) are getting their due next.

What source do you have, that they are coming next?

Nothing on EC, but it's the logical conclusion with Slaanesh getting a whole release given that's the exact pattern that Nurgle and Tzeentch followed.

Only firm thing I've seen is the leaked Fiend.

I heard it's really more of a Sigmar release, though of course any daemon models have use in both games!

I'm sure WE and EC will get big releases eventually but there's nothing concrete to suggest either is particularly soon.

Nurgle was more of a Sigmar release too - we went through this whole song and dance where we didn't know if the snail rider was going to get rules in 40k, and it turned out he did. It's certainly possible that EC gets skipped over, but I wouldn't bet on it and I can say with confidence that all Slaanesh Daemons models will get 40k rules as well.

Nurgle got actually more like 2 releases. First DG and then nurgle daemons along with new daemon codex.

Will be interesting to see how they merge new slaanesh daemons with daemon codex.

No solid info, at the moment. New daemons sculpts could/will come for Khorne and Slaanesh in an upcoming box, but that’s about all we’ve got that we know about.

Ever since the new Chaos releases, I've been building my WE army, loading up on tonnes of FW models, I just can't wait for new Berzerkers models.

Given the importance of ullanor to both the Orks and the imperium/traitors I could see a angron enjoying the rumble

P.s.... Deamon angron is a chump, peturabo beat the ever living crap out of him!

I think its in Slaves to Darkness, when Perturabo gets sent to fetch Angron and his World Eaters to rally with the rest of the traitor forces to Terra. Keep in mind this is after Angron if forcibly raised into Daemonhood by Lorgar as well, so that's a pretty good showing on Perty's part if this is true.

The Blackstone Fortress appears to have Khornegors, which will slide into World Eaters if they become an official kit, so perhaps early to mid next year is possible.

Another thing lending credence to EC being released next is that when the new plastic Fiends photos were "leaked" GW's response to it included several hash-tags including #EmperorsChildren and #Fulgrim. Could be GW just messing with us, but it could also be a hint from them.

EC makes more sense to, TBH, as their cult marines (Noise Marines) are the only ones without a fully plastic box set. WE's have had plastic Berzerkers for years now.
Fulgrim also has more reason to make an appearance too, now the Bobbie-G is out and roboute. Someone's gotta put him back to sleep

He'd never have beaten him before being a Daemon, the gods wouldn't have allowed Angron to kill Pert, which he would have done before. Plus once characters become daemons writers always let them die, because if its two mortals fighting then one would be taken out of the lore. Daemon princes just go back to the warp and become scooby doo badies.

There's a rumor about the Blackstone Fortress going around. Supposedly, it's going to include Khornegor models.

Khornegors. As in, Khorne Beastmen. Which I haven't seen in forever.

Can't help but think this is a hint about what's to come in the near future.

Also of note, there are Negavolt Cultists in there, which might mean Dark Mechanicus is on the horizon.

I'd love to see dark Mech.

On a side note, I'm really interested in seeing all the minis Black Fortress will include as it's shaping up to be the widest variety of factions I've even seen in 1 box set.
Imperium, several Xenos AND Chaos? Yes please

To be fair we are still waiting on spider grots. But yeah - it feels like Dark Mech isn't a total impossibility now. I'd love a Dark Mech/Dinobot faction done right.

Still - I think Slaanesh/EC->WE (maybe with plastic flesh hounds) is likely. Although Khorne could be earmarked for next year's Christmas. I think its fairly safe to bet Fulgrim and Angron will get models "eventually". It just might be some time.

regarding a world eater's release, I think it's worth mentioning that the fluff of late ahs had Fulgrim spotted. Magnus and Morty active, but meanwhile the only recent mention of Angron was a failed ritual to summon him, I've just got a hunch he's a bit of a ways out

Opinions are not facts please don't confuse the two

I certainly agree with you're logic and also think EC will be before WE, but I'd like to point out that back in 7E, Eldrad and some Harlies were trying to wake up Ynnead and were interrupted by some Deathwatch, so the ritual "failed". But one of the very next campaign books had the Avatar of Ynnead released.

So it wouldn't be out of the question for the failed attempt to summon Angron resulting in him finding another way back.
But, yes, Fulgrim has already been spotted in real space recently

Writers in BL are not told what to write, so that really has no baring on what will come next.

I'm not sure if it was in a BL book or not, but the reference to his sighting was on the Warhammer Community site. I think it was one of those "Regiment Standard" satirical posts

Sure, it's just chance that Dark Imperium came out when it did right?

Why do you think Lords of Silence came out so many months after the DG release same with Dark Imperium, they would have released them as soon as the GW releases came out. The BL writers have often said that they are not told what to write.

LMAO, come on give Pert a victory for once, he's probably the most underdeveloped/ Yea your totally as special as your brothers Primarch. His whole life was pretty much, you don't get to do what you love, you get the crap jobs with no thanks and hey see that guy in offensively yellow armor, he's you but better.

No he didn't, the wolves did the jobs that no other legion would do, they have the highest loses out of the legions, that no other legion would accept taking losses like that, Pert did what he was made to do and just moaned because he never got the credit. Pert beating Angron is just a bit ridiculous, Sanguinius maybe or the Lion but Pert beating him as a daemon Primarch ppffttt.
