As a little project of mine, I am planning to 3d model and print Daemon Prince Lorgar. I have been referencing different artworks, it seems like there is a lack of official art for the daemon version of him. All I could find are some bust shots of him, most of them also have the left pauldron with the daemon skull iconography which is nice.
Do you guys mind helping me find more artwork of him? Especially for the designs of the right pauldron, his backpack, and his legs.
I guess I can improvise by looking at what we got now and compare it to his pre heresy look.
I wish I would make him as close to the official one as possible.
Here are what I found
https://cs11.pikabu.ru/post_img/2018/06/16/7/1529147966111644427.jpg
this is one of the clearer ones

The collar trim is already different in this, but most parts seems similar.
We know know the pauldrons are different, one has a skull thing on it while the other has a "chaos-star" trim (?)
By the way, lore wise, does he produce some kind of smoke or something, since the Mhara Gal has something called Shroud of Dark Fire? I think it would make sense that Lorgar himself would have something similar. Also, can he fly?

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

I've always pictured Lorgar as still mostly human looking with the subtle hint of possession pulsing underneath, as if the daemons bound within are screaming to come out to the surface.

"Courage and Honour. I hear you murmur these words in the mist, in their wake I hear your hearts beat harder with false conviction seeking to convince yourselves that a brave death has meaning.
There is no courage to be found here my nephews, no honour to be had. Your souls will join the trillion others in the mist shrieking uselessly to eternity, weeping for the empire you could not save.
To the unfaithful, I bring holy plagues ripe with enlightenment. To the devout, I bring the blessing of immortality through the kiss of sacred rot.
And to you, new-born sons of Gulliman, to you flesh crafted puppets of a failing Imperium I bring the holiest gift of all.... Silence."

Yeah I was under the impression only angron, fulgrim, mortarian and Magnus changed to reflect their patron gods.
The undivided just stayed as is.
Unless there's lore I've missed.

He can probably fly, but that doesn't mean he has wings.
But I look forward to seeing what you come up with!

This one is not bad, looks like epic era stuff too Automatically Appended Next Post: NurglesR0T wrote:I've always pictured Lorgar as still mostly human looking with the subtle hint of possession pulsing underneath, as if the daemons bound within are screaming to come out to the surface.
Yeah, I guess thats right. I think I should also look at the gal vorbaks for reference too. Maybe I misunderstood the meaning of being possessed, seems like the armor itself is also turning into fleshy daemon bits.

He probably levitates ominously. Slower than flying, but far more grandiose.

There's an excellent conversion of Daemon Lorgar just like that made from Nagash by FaithfulSon. Whole army is here- https://m.imgur.com/a/xFn2oX7
