Who else are going to use the new beastmen models for Wulfen? They look way better than the digganobz we have, can't wait for the box set to be released, there are some models that look like they'd be great for cultists, probably actually are cultists from what they look like.

The Traitor Guardsmen should hopefully get their own rules (They have lasguns, and Flak armour (5+ save)). The Negavolt Cultists too. I could see beastmen being used as cultists but that's about it imo.

Cultists, why would you use them for that... They look like werewolves, they don't look anything like the old beastmen.

They have the right equipment for CCW cultists. I imagine they'll have their own rules, they should at the very least. Nothing in that box can really be used as cultists imo, and I really hope GW doesn't try and shove them to cultists.

My guess is they will have stats like Cultists along with something 'extra' to make them a choice.

The BSF game itself is going to have a progressively generating system, as characters move through the game they run into units randomly. In terms of the game, it probably won't matter much.

In terms of 40k, tho, I am getting my hands on as many as possible for my CSM army. Even if I have to use them as Cultists, they would be very good Cultists.

One other thing, a few people have referred to them as Khanigors. I know GW did not, but I would not be surprised if they eventually show up as an option in a World Eater's book. Each other Legion has it's own chaff.

You might wana wait and see if they are released on their own, the hostiles in silver tower were. I'd imagine these are too.

I don't really have any interest in most of the contents of this set. But if I can get just the beastmen cheap enough? Then I'll use them in my ab-human IG regiment. (once upon a time, way back in the RT days the IG had options - and miniatures - for fielding beastmen.) They'll be serving the emperor right in front of a commissar led heavy bolter squad alongside my squats, ratlings, ogyns, & a few misc mutant types.

There is no new beastmen models (just some repackaging of old models) if talking about beastmen AoS or more to the point fantasy? I know there was a white dwarf article awhile ago about converting beastmen bits with imperial guard etc to make chaos guys, if that's what you mean? Then beastmen are to small for wulfen (like bestigors etc and the bullgors are to big) but give it a go and post some pictures. However, wulfen are about wolves, while beastmen are about cows/goats... Maybe if you get forgeworld Skin wolves models?

They have autoguns and auto pistols so yeah they are probably cultists. Looks like they have renegades as well.

No they are actually beastmen, they have been said to be beastmen and look at the pictures, they are in the blackstone fortress box set, which is 40k they are beastmen, actually know what you are talking about before stating categorically that there are no beastmen models. The heads are not too small for wulfen.

I wouldn't collect beastmen, I just want their heads for Wulfen models.

Tzaangors are basically Tzeentch Cultists, so these Beastmen will be the same for their rules, minus the Tzeentch.
But If you wanna use them as Wulfen, I see no issue with that, other than modeling the right weapons

All I need is the heads, they look awesome, I'll just plop them on Primaris models, or get creative using some 30k models and convert them into true scale., I loathe the new Wulfen, they look like something out of AOS and have nothing marines turned wulfen, just their backpacks really.

I asked if ment Aos beastmen (i didn't see Blackstone fortress in your opening question, sorry I don't read minds). I just looked them up and they could be cool as wulfen. Still they have horns etc like goats... but maybe if clipped the horns off them and green stuffed it or change the head, they look a little anemic to me, but could look good. Good luck

No you specifically said they are no beastmen for 40k.

I'm not gunna de-rail your thread mate, but if read my initial comment I don't think i mentioned 40k beastmen at all, just AoS.

Good to see 40k is getting a new boxed set and I like the models (will be in my collection).

Wish you luck on your converting en devour. Make sure post a few pics if you end up doing it. Good luck

I will say, those new Beastmen certainly have a "Teen Wolf" sorta vibe for sure.
