Hi everyone,

So I have Logan Grimnar on Stormrider. I am planning on attempting to use his iconography on the rest of my wolves...however I wanted to check something. I had seen something online which suggested that standard space wolves would have his old company sigil, I think its a wolf head facing left with a moon on the background on a blue/grey background. And things like dreadnoughts would have his now current symbol; that of the great wolf.

I don't know how accurate this is or where I saw it but any guidance would be appreciated. I don't want to have to paint them again.

Also a strange question I plan on creating a couple of Rune Priests. I am going to give them rune armour or rune terminator armour. Anyone know of anywhere that gives info on what runes mean what etc? I just don't want to put something ridiculous on it.

I suppose the wolf howling at the moon is what you're looking for. GW doesn't seem to produce those any more, so you're out of luck if you can't find any on eBay.

I can't help you with the runes tho. But do be careful with them, you wouldn't want your Rune Priest's armor to say Fried Noodles with Chicken.

Lol exactly my worry with the runes. Yeah the logos on the shoulders I'm just worried about using the wrong one. Logan has the great wolf company logo but as I said above I'm sure I read somewhere that you wouldn't use that on all units but I can't remember where I saw it.

I think the current lore is that Logan's great company uses the wolf on it's hind legs icon. So unless you're doing a historical company you're good with what GW sells currently https://www.games-workshop.com/en-FI/Space-Wolves-Transfer-Sheet-2018

If you are really wanting to do shoulders with either icon look on shapeways to find the bit that fits to just glue on
