Interesting turn to TOW, these Estelians look intriguing, but excited to see them develop. I still can’t ge used to the larger square bases of TOW

There's a list in setras furry. Though i will use bretonian brigands which you can upgrade into wandering diestros when you pick an estalian Diestro upgrade on your renegade captain or lord. Which i do, infact the following 24 are such skirmishing diestro musketeers.

The larger bases do make it easier for pikes and musks to be fielded as skirmishers.

f.e. This unit is a Skirmishing "crossbow" unit, meaning when i form them up in a peleton and seeing sightline rules i easily can unleash 24 bolts per round and have a WS 4 block that can force you to reroll hits in melee against them once per game.



Behold, the skirmishing Diestro line.
Rules technically, this are skirmishing vanguard crossbow armed bretonian brigands, upgraded into wandering diestros thanks to the armies lord. They are here to blunt assaults and harrass aswell as allowing me to increase my footprint in an significant area.

Those are some sweet handgunners.

That Tilean Army looks like it will be fun to paint.
I must resist starting new armies!

Finally i got the rest of the army and have now time to start building again.

Also it just occured to me that i built a Tercio by accident.
24 "Rodelero musketeers".

2x12 24 Musketeers

Anyways, i am still alive.

nono, these here are from a holy league against skaven.

Hence the high ammount of gunpowder for estalians.
Don't worry, i got a sea wolves army planed as a counter to them.

Setras Furry and some old art exist.

Anyways, Guns and some League Dragoons.

Currently working on the background of the army. The last unit is on my table, anyways, here's the Halfbrother of the BSB Ricardo Alvarez and his Caballeros, equiped with tilean plate.




Feather on horse head means musician. Feather ontop of helmet means champion.

And Lega Carabinieri.

And i started painting. Decided on a sheme, i do hope it looks sufficently estalian

Good palette! That army is gonna look amazing when done.

I like the colour choice and the mixing up of them. It gives a unified ragtag look if that makes sense.

Thanks, that was preciscly the aim.
Since neither estalia and tilea are very fleshed out i decided to do so on my own. For one Liga / Lega or holy leagues seem a decent analog irl for what will probably be a core mechanic to how Estalia and Tilea survive their neighbourhood most likely called for Myrmidia but i rekon remas will also call them for Tylos in the name of Solkan . Tilea will probably call them for Skaven and Pirates, Estalia will probably call them for Undead, Skaven and Pirates.
Those leagues will also depending upon threat probably proffesionalize to some degree, something we saw in the thirty years war and the italian wars.

Anways, Progress:





Also here are Elmetti and Caballeros. Seeing as these leagues probably will be well financed in the beginning it is likely that even the notoriously poor estalian caballeros will get a set of blackened decent full plate.
