I’m trying to make a decent tac list with knights admech and Custodes or inquisition. I have several knights and some admech no dragoon’s tho. I was looking to get some Custodes or inquisition models

Your post appears to be lacking any sort of question or boldfaced trolling in it to warrant a response. Are you looking for advice or just letting all of us know what you're up to these days?

If its the latter, then good for you! Keep on playing Playa

If its the former then say so! I only replied to this thread because I've been wanting to build a multi faction imperial take all comers list for ages but then the Knight Castellan?Loyal 32? Smash captain thing happened. Build that maybe?

Yeah, I'm going to say you need some advice here.

Inquisiton units are hard right now. When 8th edition came out, it was possible to take a lot of Acolytes with 3 wounds that could do Look Out Sir on your Inquisitors. They dropped the number of wounds, you now longer have this gigantic ablative wound bubble to keep them alive. The FAQ about keywords made it harder to play them, now you can't soup them into detachments since they only share the Imperium keyword.

Custodes are the better option. Bike Captains paired with Knights are a hard matchup.

Hey there was a guy who ran an imperial fist brigade at Warzone Atlanta recently who ran an inquisitor with a null rod and a culexus. Not entirely sure what the null rod does but some anti psyker shenannigans may have some play

The general advice for TAC lists seems to be "don't". It's really hard to build a list with answers for everything, so it makes more sense to skew as hard as possible one way or another in hopes that your opponent's TAC list can't handle your skew.

That does tend to make for more rock-paper-scissors game play though.
