This is intended to be a semi-casual list, to be used against players I know are good. Consisting of things I want to try and things meant to keep me in the game long enough to try them. I put it together before the chapter approved leaks so the drop pods are even more egregious than they seem.

Love the idea! Always good to see a Blood Raven list

My only thought was if you considered scout squads rather than tactical squads. The scouts are cheaper and seem to be generally better than the average tactical squad. I know you would lose 2 las cannons, but you could make up for it with 2 missile launchers

I've used scouts before and they disappointed. I might replace one of the tac squads with one if the points drops are enough that doing so would give me room for something real nice. Which would also include the price of the drop pod that tactical squad would have used, which'd be nice.

Edit: I'd probably also turn the single 10-man tac squad into two 5-man squads with a lascannon each.

Wouldnt it be better to avoid damage in the first place, instead of reducing it, when it already happened ? Im talking about replacing the shield eternal with the salamander mantle. More toughness means your captain is harder to wound. With might of heroes you can bring him up to T6. Replace the preds with twin LC razorbacks. This will save you 210 (!) points. Your tac squads can embark on them, reducing your deployment count. Add a dev squad with LC, PC, ML, HB, cherub, some more marines as ablative wounds for the saved points, giving you access to flakk missile and hellfire shells, which can be reloaded by the cherub for 2D3 MW. Replace the drop pods with rhinos with twin SB. Add two more HKM to the leviathan.

I can't take salamander's mantle in matched play because I don't actually play salamanders. The predators are for killshot more than anything, and getting reduced in chapter approved apparently which is interesting. If I have room I'll probably add at least one razorback once chapter approved hits though, because I like them too.

The drop pods are a unit I know are bad... but I really, really want to see if there's a way to make them good. Which is part of the point for this list like I mentioned, trying certain things out. I really want to find a way to add devastators which would fit well with adding a razorback. I'd probably just do mono-weapon tho, probably.

I also want to see about maybe fitting Gabe in after CA if he gets a points drop. But that gets into a whole new can of worms...

If you lose one predator you cant use killshot anymore. A smart opponent going first will probably focus fire on one and take it out.
