A friend of mine recently gave me his unused warhammer stuff and to my surprise he had a baneblade. He never painted it and some of the parts were missing. I don't play Imperial Guard but I am collecting Orks. So I thought a battlefortress would make a beautiful centerpiece.

You are quite correct, that is a work of beauty.

Great job! Reminds me of the old 40k art where the Orks were colorful and literally brimming with dakka.

That's a fair assessment. I received the model completely built and I did not feel comfortable attempting to alter the body. So I quite honestly piled on ork bits and whatever garbage I had laying around the house.

In my opinion in needs a nasty looking deff rolla on the front and some more armour plates put on. But that's my personal preference.

Overall good job. The yellow looks great.

Love it. I have no issue with it being a baneblade piled with orky stuff. Isn't that exactly what Orks would do with one? The HUGE gun barrels really get me. So over the top. I can just see some mek staring at a regular tank barrel and thinking "Nah, dat dere needs more firepower. Hmm, if I put a bunch of missiles tubes around it, dey be easy to aim! Yeah dat's da dakka!"

Orks can loot anything. Great looking lootversion.

That's some beautiful yellow there. I am so glad people are painting orks different colors than black. Great job!! It would definitely fit in with the old second and third edition ork armies. I'd love to see the rest of your ork army.
