Hello dakka...

I have a need to get my hands on some skeletons for various projects of mine...
If any one of you good sirs and ladies could help me out, i would be in your debt.
The favorite option would be old GW ones...bare bones is what i crave...
If anyone has other helpful ideas, then I'm all ears...

Best wishes, yours truly vik

Looks like you're in luck! Warlord is re-releasing the old Wargames Factory Skellies. All bones, nothing but.

Yep, those are the most basic, sought-after Skeletons, particularly after they redid the sprue (the initial one was super awful to assemble). They're very slender...and not for the feint of heart (best on large based armies). Are you using skeletons for adornment or for gaming models?

For gaming models, the best thing going right now is the Shadespire gang from GW --- but they're not bare bones. Just more robust skeleton figures.

The above pictured ones are (as mentioned) originally from Wargames Factory and are very much inspired by the classic films - they even feature Greek weaponry.

Ah, so these are the famous skeletons! Thanks for the heads-up, I've been on the lookout for some bones for bases and scenery. Starts getting weird with just skulls everywhere

What do you mean by best for gaming? The Shadespire gang has definitely the best looking skeletons, but I wouldn't call them robust by any means..

Someone pointed out Toad King Castings' "Skull and Bones Sheets". Haven't used them myself, but they look like they could be useful, if a bit fiddly.
