Again, they changed the points cost.
That means they revisited it and left the BS4+ thing intact.

Again, it makes it no more intentional when the intent behind the price difference (as stated before GW before the usual wag cries WE CAN NEVER KNOWWWW) was to better reflect their effectiveness on models with higher Ballistic Skill.
Less well ackshuallyisms and more emailing GW would be great.

They have no BS4+ infantry that can take it. What's the point of it even existing? It's because GW obviously doesn't care about them, that's okay. Why would the alternate point cost even exist if it was intended? It wouldn't. But this discussion's over, I got my answer, we're all good. I'll continue to laugh at GW. Yeah it’s a copy/paste error that has no excuse to have persisted across a second iteration of CA but that’s what it is. Still, it gives some folk something to crow about online so at best it’s easily fixed by reasonable players and at worst it gives some people something to do.

That's from CA2018. The plasma points are 11 for non BS4+ models, that's 2018.

They didn't change it because it's a copy paste mistake.
Tell me, instead of just saying that, explain why they would have it even on the page if there are no BS4+ infantry units that can take it in the R&H dex?
