In a situation like this.

I want to pile in, but not in front of them, I want to jump them and stay closer, textually I can do it.

The point is:

- During charges, Pile Ins and Consolidates, can I jump the bases of my enemies? I don't think so.

If i were running, i would get stuck in the middle of the bases

No, you cannot. Even if you have the FLY keyword, you cannot, since FLY now only works in the movement phase. What you CAN do is wrap around the side and end up closer, if you have enough movement to do so.

That's exactly what my mate said when playing today (I play orks, a lot of miniatures and charges), not even <fly> can do it.

So he was right, thanks.
