Subject: Question regarding Hellfire rounds + Bolter Drill

So;
Based on the FAQ a long long time ago, a one may use the Devastator Squad Cherub to "reload" a heavy bolter that fired Hellfire rounds that phase. This allows one to deal 2d3 potential mortal wounds. This FAQ showed that the "This weapon can only fire one this phase" is not a block as it is GW saying the weapon becomes Heavy 1, I think.
My question is this: Can I use Bolter Drill on that heavy bolter.
The bolter fires once, which the potential of additional shots, reload, then fire again with potential additional shots. Would 4d3 potential mortal rounds be possible in one phase?
I was hoping I could find a similar question on the forums, but I have failed to find it.
Thank you

Bolter Drill is an extra hit (or is it shot?) on a hit roll of 6, correct?
I see no reason it wouldn't work.

Negative.
While active all hit rolls of 6 generate an additional attack, that then has to be rolled for. I assumed it didn't work since well attack only once per phase, but the cherub was FAQed as usable anyways.

I think this works, though bare in mind you only get the extra shot on a 6.
So without Bolter Drill but using Hellfire and Cherub you will average 2.7 mortal wounds.
With Bolter Drill the average goes up to 3.1.
It's nice enough, but not that exciting.

...
Are you telling yourself it doesn't work now?

Sorry just a double post due to a page refreshing. Currently at work so had to switch between tabs.
Also it would be a bit more I think. You can signum the bolter and proc Bolter Drill on 5+.
If my math is right, with signun, a captain, and a cherub it goes to an average of 5.1 (without a captain is 4.4)

5.1 looks right to me.
Still, the CP and using up your one Cherub use, and not putting the Signum on say a Lascannon...
I just don't think it's that impressive.
If you really need to ping the last few wounds off a Knight then yeah, that's pretty decent.

Well, let's see...
Normally you get (2/3)*2=4/3 mortal wounds.
With JUST a Cherub, double that to 8/3.
With JUST the Signum, it's (5/6)*2=5/3.
With BOTH, you double 5/3 to 10/3.
With JUST Bolter Drill, you get (7/9)*2=14/9 mortal wounds.
With BOTH Bolter Drill and a Signum, you get (10/9)*2=20/9 mortal wounds.
With ALL, you get double that, for 40/9 mortal wounds.
4.4 mortal wounds, with no outside buffs.
I'll assume the math of adding a captain is correct, don't feel like checking that.
