These are a few names I thought of, not sold on any but wanting opinions of anyone willing to give one. I am planning on making a backstory/short story for a Deathguard warband, with the intention of building a tabletop army around it. If anyone has any tips or advice on creating a backstory, even if they seem obvious. It is my first time doing this. I have not done any fiction writing since.. school! So this is all new so any tips or advice is appreciated.

Eternal burden,.alot of poxwalkers, deathguard plaguemarines, the new DG apothecary and potentially a souped in R&H nurgle detachment as a huge footsloging horde playstyle?

(I recommend r&h since cultists can become rather obnoxiously annoying to paint and build whilest R&h have more freedom)

Cheers guys! My intention was to have a footslogging horde almost, with the elites of the warband slogging behind the poxwalkers. Which model are you refering to in the DG apothecary??

R&H has been recommended to me in the past actually. Adding a nurgle R&H is definitely something plausible now.

If you don't mind resin and greenstuff i'd reccomend anvil cultists in robes.

Problem with R&H is atm that the list is, very odd and also on the weaker side. That said you can make it work.
(if I can pull some victories with my r&h you can too.)

The new one, i don't play DG, but it is one of the overpriced DG charachter blisters.

Edit: Plague surgeons , no idea if they are worth a Damn but i think a army of chaff could profit from some Doc.

I have actually seen them.. Could be an interesting add on. Food for thought definitely.

I do not mind losing if I am honest. As long as the army I am using feels fun and interesting.

Ahhh yes he is a good model. I plan on having all of the single model units eventually to go along with my Warbands background.

It is a shame they removed R&H from FW, more for the elite units, I remember those ogryn type things that were on chains.

Those still exist (rulewise) as do plague ogryns
