Why are we feeding trashy news sites?

I mean I get its a joke but darn it the number of clickbait ads and the annoying handful of popups and alerts and stuff and just - urgh. Granted a lot of major news sites also look identical to this now (gosh I remember when in the past news websites at least didn't have clickbait links all over them - at least without having to use adblockers).

I stopped reading at this point as once you get it's a joke there's nothing else to really say.

Yeah, like the guy thinking he's almost done then suddenly there's 20 more minis on his table.

A couple of mentions I've recently heard:
An episode of eureka 4th season I believe where Felicia Day's character was first introduced to the series. She turned to the sheriff and asked him "Have you ever heard of Warhammer?"

Then there was an episode of Till debt do us part where the husband had a huge Warhammer collection (I didn't see the episode but my fiancé did, and made sure to mention it to me :O )

We're gonna need another Timmy!

Yeah, like the guy thinking he's almost done then suddenly there's 20 more minis on his table.

And they're models for an army he doesn't even own too.

The climax is a Warlord Titan that appears, and in mania he does the usual thing of either disappearing into his own world or tripping down the stairs or falling out of a window
