Subject: CA2018 change to forward deployment?

I heard someone post that CA2108 changed the alpha legion strategy somewhat after the FAQ castrated it. WHere was this mentioned?

There were no changes to this in Chapter Approved. The BIG Faq 2 version stands.

Not in CA18, it was in The Big FAQ 2, and is a beta rule.

Not in CA18, it was in The Big FAQ 2, and is a beta rule.
This is the important part. The changes to deployment are not final (this is the second time it has changed, in fact).

This is the important part. The changes to deployment are not final (this is the second time it has changed, in fact).
While true, most tournaments and (in my experience) pick up games use it. So I think it's fair to assume the default position is that the rule is being followed, unless it's stated in the question otherwise.
