No, the video shows the legs and they don't match. Either it's an alternative part (it is meant to have three different builds) or there is going to be another model with similar details (maybe drop troops to drop out of it?).

Pictures of the three different builds from people at the open day all seem to have the same parts (the landing gear legs can be outstretched or folded, but they look the same design wise and don’t match this from what I’ve seen) so yeah it looks like there’s something else coming with it.

Either way, the “Mechanicum flyer” guesses would appear to be correct. I personally have no idea how anyone got ‘dark Eldar’ from the initial snip though, apart from possibly having never seen an Adeptus Mechanicus kit…

Indeed. There’s that cog shaped middle part that was very Ad Mech.
I reckon some more will be solved today as the day goes on.

Oh wow, they actually released an Ornithopter for the ad mech. The Dune is strong with this one.

More than makes up for the questionable transport for me. I really like that flyer.

Endless spell for Satyr Elves. Or something stupid like a bonsai tree in the 5-person diorama that is the Satyr Elf faction leader model.

Bonsai as endless spell feels such an odd choice for Pan elves. Concealed Sarlacc would be more in line, given the hunter/quarry mechanic from Underworlds.

Could work as extra diorama piece, but it wasn't my first thought when I've seen the picture.

Sounds likely given hov GW designs stuff (I thought giant beetle with this on the exoskeleton shields). But on a closer look, the scale is way to small. the leaves on other models branches, like the ones on the dryads have a very different size. The sacle on this is not for 28mm the way I see it.

AoS dreadfleet perhaps?

given the themes present in the hysh warband from warcry, I'll be disappointed if the eventual aelf faction release for the shiny elves isnt very easter asia influenced.

The warcry warband looks super wuxia.

I'll be disappointed, if they are. Certain elements and influences are fine and welcomed, having samurai with pointy ears is quite uninteresting. What makes the old high elves interesting is variety of different influences and how it's woven together.

I agree, but every design has its core identity that is then worked out from and embellished and melded with different cultural cues.

I for would like to see.the elves.move.away from Greco-Roman aesthetics - and more towards something new and different. As.frankly If like.to.see.order.humans.get something Greco-Roman (just as the elves,. dwarves,.and stormcast.have), and then AoS.could start moving into new territory design wise.
