The idea is to Webway in the wraithblades to a big threat. The Spiritseer will be given the wings relic to keep up and be where he can support them. The 3 squads of storm guardians go into the 3 wave serpeants, the squads of defenders move to objectives and are supported by the warlocks. Eldrad does Eldrad things, and the avatar looms into combat with a blob of whatever needs to die (or acts as a distraction carbides)

I don't think you're wraithblades are going to deal out enough damage to actually kill the targets you need them to kill. The avatar is great but he can really only go after one key unit per turn if he's lucky. The wraithblades need the psytronome of iyanden to really pack a punch and overwhelm the other unit with saves. Your first battalion has to be ulthwe since you have Eldrad, which I think is a good choice since you have the 20 guardian blob. I would make the second battalion Iyanden and switch your spiritseer into the iyanden battalion to use the psytronome.

The best powers from runes of battle that you could use on your wraithblades are quicken, protect, and enhance. Enhance is better than empower because you can combo enhance with the psytronome and the supreme disdain stratagem.

guardian platforms--- mathmatically speaking, only the starcannon or brightlance are more effective than not having a platform at all.

crystal targetting matrix will have no effect, since the weapons on the wave serpents are all assault weapons...

Also chain swords are more effective on storm guardians than aeldari blades (slightly)

Agreed, although I'd argue the shuriken cannon offers more than just killing power. It meshes with battlefocus and it's cheap enough that you can use its two 3+sv (2+ in cover) wounds to shield your otherwise highly fragile citizen militia. I see it as more of a defensive upgrade, while I'd happily remove guardians to save a starcannon or bright lance platform.

Do you guys feel the avatar is better or another squad of guardians with 9, 2 fusion guns in a fourth wave serpeant, and upgrade all the serpeants but one to have triple canons? Or keep the avatar, make him warlord, give him the 2 inch movement trait and casting quicken on him for an 18” movement?

Why don't you just make that into a brigade? All you have to do is move 1 of the supreme command warlocks into the battalion and break up the Reapers and Spears into 3 units each. Then with the points you save from Eldrad and a Warlock just pick up 2 Elite units.

Its a little easier to go double battalion. The SpiritSeer and the 1st warlock in the last attachment have the same psychic powers, which isn't good because you can't repeat a power unless it is named smite in the same phase.. So... drop one warlock, add a unit of troops (probably storm guardians since we know the OP has the models). Then you have enough HQ and troops to make both battalions and no need to rip apart large units of reapers or spears.

Using the shuriken cannon platform on the troops for ablative wounds for guardians, its ok I guess. I'd spring for starcannons, but... there's enough juice with reapers and spears that its negligible either way.

I like your ideas and I want you to take a look at this and tell me if you think it’s better, I feel as though it is. Mind you I’m trying to be competitive as possible mono codex right now. I do have yvraine and ynnead but I really am trying to only run ynnari at the utmost competitive events, not just the local somewhat competitive scene of my locals.

My perspective just changed with this last iteration. How would I deal with it. (glad you like my advice).

So to toast your list, one needs to break the reapers, spears, eldrad and then wraithblades, pretty much in that order.

To protect the reapers you bubblewrap them in defender guardians, so I can't sneak in mellee units. You might consider breaking the reapers up into 3 smaller units, and possibly remove a psycher in place of an autarch, to give reroll 1's, recover control points, and have a counterattack unit to thwart melee units. and of course lighting reflect strategem so they go from -1 to hit, to -2 to hit.

Reapers in big squads benefit from guide more. If you want heavies throw in 2 shadow Weaver's

Only advantage to small reapers is more tempest launchers but this list benefits less from those
