It's an old Gryphon I decided to repaint.
The model didn't come with a rider, so I decided he would fight dismounted.
There's also a bit of an Easter Egg - but you have to look.

Now, what could that be... Has it something to do with the gryphons's head, or is it that the Rider's Sword could easily be replaced by an electric guitar and still look awesome?

I love it because the mental image of the knight with a guitar is hilarious.
I hate it because I'll never be able to look at it again without thinking of Keith Richards or Gene Simmons or similar! :-)

It's hard to see from this angle - but it is barely visible to the right rear of the Gryphon as you look at it.
If you go to the gallery it will be obvious

The tiger stripes look really good. I like the addition of the baby graph, looks like he is trying to follow along. The strip across the base of the beak is nice. I think it draws attention to the head and makes the beak pop out more while still looking natural.

The baby griffin? I thought it was a dead tree from the image in the post.

Nice i like it. i think if you took picture with more light hitting the front of models it might be a bit more easier to see.
