Atomic Mass Games has for most models urban bases and I thought (as per their website) a grave poking out of the middle of a road or sidewalk would look odd.
So went with the field instead.

The water effect took about 3 goes to get right but finally happy with it, with blues, greens, whites, washes and regular paints.

Nice water, but great job on all that flesh too

Nova [MCP]

From red to white on the stars and used heavy agrax earthshade on the gold.
3 hours from an undercoated model to spray of varnish, very happy with that.

5 Inquisitor scale models - 2
20 Astra Militarum Units/Vehicles/groups characters - 8
5 Warhammer Underworlds Warbands - 2
50 MCP models - 19
2 full sets of MCP Terrain - 0
9 gang/vehicle boxes for Necromunda. - 0

Going really well so far.
Goals for this month are 2 Astra Millitarum units, 6 MCP models and an Inquisitor model.
I've almost run out of models for the painting production line, so will need assemble/base quite a few units to keep the production line flowing.

A quick model.

Had to re-pin the right wrist with a paperclip after the original joint snapped when dry brushing early on in the painting process.
The safety notice was washed with thinned PVA/Wood glue to stiffen and then 2 drops of glue to hold it in its precarious position, used some clippers to hold it in position until the glue dried.

This was a model, like several prior MCP models that I sat on for months, unsure how I would do it, then sudden inspiration strikes and I smash it out in a few hours.

Please GW, bring back your Glazes range, the blue and yellow are far and away the best glazes I've ever used (as evidenced by the eyes in this model). I have plenty left as it is used so sparingly, but one day it will be gone.

Stippling and fine line work for the leather coat, really happy with the effect.

Still that 1 MCP model off being fully 1 month ahead of where I wanted to be, but very happy with the progress.

I had coming into Easter essentially having run out of built/assembled and based models to get onto painting, but as was camping assembled 20 MCP models and and 2 and a half batches of IG setting me up for the next few months.
