I was watching a battle report the other day and the eldar player used cloudstrike, twice I think, paying one CP per flyer.
I was a little surprised because I thought you could only use it for one flyer because of how webway strike asks for one CP for a single unit of infantry/bikers or three CP for two units.
I know you can use strats more than once in deployment but maybe I'm conflating the two stratagems and confusing myself.

Yes, you're conflating the two stratagems. 'Webway Strike' says it can only be used once while 'Cloudstrike' has no such wording.

Cloudstrike is 1 CP for one vehicle. It doesnt say its 3 CP for two of them.

The best thing to do if you think something is wrong is to re-read the codex first. Cloudstrike can be used any number of times, but only if you do not use the Webway Strike stratagem.

Thanks for the replies, just re-read the webway strike entry again. I'd forgotten that webway strike specified once per battle, unlike cloudstrike. Automatically Appended Next Post: On a related note, is there a definitive answer regarding how cloudstrike and the invulnerable save on a forgeworld scorpion works? I remember reading somewhere that it counts as having moved it's full distance and therefore has its strongest save but I don't know where I read it or if it's accurate.
