Well, I'd like to gather information about Ynnari primitives which refer to unit combos that can make use of SfD and the Ynnari psychic powers.

1) Yvraine + Dark Reapers: Yvraine allows the DRs to shoot twice thanks to her psychic power.

2) Using the SfD combo, one could combine (for triggering and being triggered)

- two Shooty units,
- one Shooty unit and one CC unit, or
- two CC units.

Shooty units: Dark Reapers, Ravagers w/ dissies (for triggering only), Scourges, Skyweavers

CC units: Shining Spears, Taloi (for triggering only).

All in all, fast moving units are necessary that get close to the enemy in order to benefit from SfD.

Further strong combos?

Note that only infantry and bikers benefit from SfD.

Make sure you check the FAQ for the index, as SFD has changed dramatically from the index.

typical targets for ynnari/sfd:
-guardian defender blob
-Shining Spears
-Dark Reapers
-lately people have been trying Wraithblades, but this doesn't work with the new vigilus traits so it's a mixed bag.

The SfD rule has changed for the worse.
But its still strong and worth to be considered.

#TRUTH

I have been running Ynnari competitively throughout 8th edition. It has been nerfed a couple times, but remains a very strong way to build Aeldari armies.

No earth shattering, thought provoking quote. I'm just someone who was introduced to 40K in the late 80's and it's become a lifelong hobby.

Fire Dragons are not the best unit these days, but I have enjoyed melting two tanks a turn with them.

They have always been a good unit and generally I never play without two units of 5 of them mounted in Serpents.
