So I bought a really badly painted, but mostly complete WHQ set from eBay, with the intention of building a kick ass campaign.

Let me know what you're missing. I recently picked up a huge job lot those era models. The chap had EVERYTHING for Warhammer Quest + all expansions and alot of it in multiples.
So if you're after the odd piece or two or a decent copy of any tokens etc gimme a shout.

Lovely job mate. I loved that game as a kid, I remember my Dwarf hero at one point had more great gear and runic axes than any sane individual could or should carry.

Im so happy I found this thread. I have a classic Warhammer Quest set I've been sitting on for quite some time. This has inspired me to get off my ass & start painting it again.

The dragon is actually a daemon possessed dragon statue from the adventure book, but it’s probably the only time it will ever hit the table!
Also my ogres arrived! No one tell my wife how much they cost. Automatically Appended Next Post: gruebot wrote:Im so happy I found this thread. I have a classic Warhammer Quest set I've been sitting on for quite some time. This has inspired me to get off my ass & start painting it again.
Dude! Do it. It’s so satisfying - although painting 12 identical skaven was a low point.

They are boring as hell to paint and I dislike the sculpt, but this guy is definitely looking better then he did a year ago.
