Hey Dakka Dakka!
Long time reader first time poster here, I've been reading the News & Rumours forum for a very long time.
I recently started a small business in New Zealand making laser cut terrain. My focus has been on making terrain more accessible for Kiwi gamers (any Kiwi or Australian tabletop gamers out there know what I'm talking about, high cost of shipping and a long wait) but I've got good international shipping rates and hopefully some terrain that would interest people overseas.

Here's some pictures of our terrain that we've made for 40k and Necromunda (snuck in a picture of some WW2 terrain for Bolt Action as well):
I've got a bunch of stuff planned for 40k, next up is a tram and then a dock crane.
Here's our website if anyone's interested: www.titanterrain.nz
Here's out facebook page: www.facebook.com/TitanTerrainNZ
Happy gaming!

Also, if anyone has any feedback on our designs or ideas for terrain they'd like to see we'd love to hear it.

Nice looking stuff. Not keen on the giant spacing on the stairs - I know it makes them more playable, but it looks wrong.
Love the tram, and the industrial/port setup there is excellent.

Yeah it's a tough one with the stairs. I made them so that models on 32mm bases can stand on them. If the stairs are closer (more realistic) it can be tricky to get models to balance part way up. Great feedback though, I'll see if I can get them closer together while still being able to put models on them.

One option that I've seen with some terrain sets is to include a little platform that slides in between the stairs, giving a larger surface for models to stand on - you just move it with the model as they go up or down the stairs.

Love the look of this. Clean and blocky enough to fit with current 40k aesthetic, but detailed enough to have real personality, the churchy ruins with the eagle over the arch are humdingers

I'm in New Zealand. Might be a bit far away for people in the US/ UK but we've got pretty solid gaming communities in New Zealand and Australia.

I'm a long time 40k player, just started playing Bolt Action. It's a great game. The rules are very quick to pick up and the order dice system adds a lot of dynamism, it makes for a good break from 40k where you can be waiting for a long time for an opponent to finish their turn. It's also very cheap to get into. I just bought 2000 points of second hand soviets for $150NZD, the rough equivalent of around 4000 points of 40k. Recommend it if you're looking for something different.

Wow, the European street block is really nice. I laughed though because it looks like Russians on a French street.

Well, you weren't wrong, those are Russians on a French Street. Maybe from an alternative history where the US didn't enter the war and the Soviets didn't stop at Berlin?

I really like the boats!
May I make the bold suggestion for a Pulp style tramp steamer?
And a dockside bundle of that with the fishing trawler? To make it easier for me to click 'Buy'.

You're not the first person to ask about a Pulp tramp steamer! I'm actually planning on doing a small (a bit bigger than the fishing trawler, around 400mm - 450mm in length ) cargo ship, something similar to this:
It would be a bit smaller than a "classic" tramp steamer but maybe it would fit the same niche? My concern with doing a classic pulp style steamer is that it would end up being quite expensive.
And a dockside bundle of that with the fishing trawler?
Yep, once I've got a few more things done for the dockside range I'll be doing a bundle.

I think that would work fine. Cost is certainly a consideration. My main concern would be to give the correct impression and be playable, rather than be a "correct" size. Buildings are always foreshortened in TT wargames anyway, and I would view this as a similar piece. Again, a far more important point is being able to game on it. For pulp, we're talking about small skirmish games, so you absolutely need to be able to place at least a 25mm base running around the decks and between (under?) the railings, and have as many internal spaces accessible as possible. At least, that's what I'd want. I wouldn't want to spend the money and table space for something that can only serve as a backdrop piece.

Great! What else do you have in mind for the range?

Great feedback, thank you. I'll take that into consideration with the cargo boat. Balancing playability, aesthetics and cost is something I'm always considering. To me terrain needs to primarily be functional, it's for a game. But I like to make things look as nice as possible without being overly expensive. This is always a balancing act as different people want different things so I generally go for what I would want myself.
Great! What else do you have in mind for the range?
I'll be releasing two warehouses and a crane later today. Here's a WIP (needs a few changes) of one of the warehouses:
I've got a couple more things after that but I'll be keeping them a surprise until they're a bit closer to being finished. Any suggestions for what you'd like to see in a historical dockside/industrial range?

The second wave of our dockside range is here:
Waterside Storehouse
Fish Market
Luffing Crane
I'll be doing one more release for our dockside range before I get back to doing some sci-fi terrain. After doing all these historical vehicles I'm keen to have a go at doing some more imaginative ones.

Damn that trawler is nice. The flat shipping rate to the USA is quite reasonable too. Can we get a scale shot with the civilian vehicles (trucks) next to some common figures?

Here's a picture from Friday night, they're older versions of the trucks:
I can take a picture better showing the size tomorrow.
