I’ve done yellow once but this time I’d be ushering averland spray then agax earthshade then lamenter yellow to make the yellow pop.

Is it still difficult to achieve a good yellow even when using the gw yellow spray?
It is not. Even on white undercoat getting good yellow is easy. Yellow being somehow hard is mostly an urban legend started by people who have tried to paint yellow on black undecoat.

I don't know how GW's yellow spray is, but with Armypainter's I have found that giving the model a white undercoat first and then a second coat with yellow gives better results. GW sprays have somewhat better coverage though, so it might not be needed.

Crimson Fists are another good choice. Rarely seen and look awesome.

Ok I’ll try both.

That’s very true am going to test the yellow 1st but if am not satisfied it’s Crimson Fists or Ultramarines.

this isn't a bad comprimise if you like both Imp Fists and Ultramarines

Opinions are not facts please don't confuse the two

You get to be Blue(thus easier to paint), like the Ultramarines, and follow Dorn (the absolute best) like the Imperial Fists.
