ok making the pic big as billboard signs was not my idea, copied from my Dakka gallery. and apparently, it's one size fits all. Tried resizing them, but no luck.

That armor's got some country miles on it

You should try throwing a wash on a few pieces of it: Army painter and Games Workshop both make excellent washes. Some black on the silver parts and some green on the skin and face would really make the details pop.

Thing is before I took the new photos I did give all metal parts yet another layer of was just to make them darker, even added a layer on the metal plate on his head.. Same whit the skin, but for some reason it didn't make any difference. Unless I use very watered down paint, I don't think I can make it that much darker whit out using about 40 layers of wash.

I agree with the wash suggestion, but the thing is you don't want the whole area to have an even coat, the aim isn't to darken the area but to give a bit of definition. Darker in the cracks and recessed areas. The main surface stays a bit lighter and maybe even adding a few scuffed silver highlights around the raised edges. The end result is a lot more depth. (Sorry to be a git explaining this if you know it already)

Your rust tone is excellent but there's just a bit too much of it, and again it's a bit flat. Imagine there are some different metals in there. Pick out some of those galvanised bolts and maybe add some fresher plates here or there. There's plenty of nice detail on this sculpt that's going begging.

Basically, I wanted the ting to look like it's about to fall apart. I have an Ork Warboss with Big Choppa that I will use the same technic on but not as heavy-handed.

Nice work!! Beautiful rust effect.

If you care about my two cents - I think if the rust was patchy it would work better.

Wonderful piece regardless.

It was my first attempt at using ryza rust and typhus corrosion. Normally I usually paint standard colors.

As a fan of rusty Orkiness I like it. But it needs some color on it. Looks a bit brown, splash some yellow or another bright color, just a bit here and there, that'll make it really pop.

Nice work

Indeed, very good and an uncommon touch.
