Sup Dakka,

After two years of my models collecting dust I have finally got back to the bench, and boy does it feel good. I'm a tad rusty but I I manged to get some paint on two of the five Nurgle Chaos Spawn conversions that I had started pretty much two years and never finished.

I also had an idea to make a Nurgle prince conversion from the snap fit hell brute model I picked up for 10 bucks a long time ago. I snapped it together and did a pre build using some sticky tack just to show you a rough idea of where my head is at. I plan on adding some vents on his back similar to the plague marine conversions I did here - https://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/180/640396.page#8636345. I also plan on using a bunch of GS and adding a gas mask respirator to the face with a bunch of tubes coming off it, need to get me some new GS first!

Nurgle Spawn Conversion #1 - I'm extremely happy how this guy turned out, however I might do a 50-50 death world forest and nurgling green next time, I find the nurgling green a little bit too bright for my liking.

Nurgle Spawn Conversion #2 (Paint Test - Not even close to complete) I'm honestly not too sure how I feel about this paint scheme.... I think I may re do it, I was all over the map and I didn't really have a strategy going into it.

Demon Prince Conversion Idea

Congrats on getting back in the game. Never too late to make cool toys.

I am really a fan of the Brute Prince. A great mix of parts.

The yellow and purple go really well and pop out nicely from the pale green background on that first model.

I think the second colour scheme has a lot of potential. Will you go with the same yellow? If so, I think it needs a bright colour to go with it.

It is hard to tell how the daemon prince is going. Got potential though.

Though guards may sleep and ships may lay at anchor, our foes know full well that big guns never tire.

Hey,

Thanks for popping in, still on the fence about the second nurgle spawn, only time will tell what I decide to do.

Gonna start putting the prince together, once I have the build glued up before the GS it will give you a better idea what I'm planning on doing.
