Subject: I saw this video and now I almost want to throw my whole Khorne army
This is the model collection of at least one of the members of Debauchery, a band that has quite a few 40k songs, especially ones concerning Khorne, and as anyone can see, especially Chaos and Tyranid fans, it is beyond awesome. I mean, how does one do this? I've made some Khornate/Tyranid/other stuff hybrids myself, but this almost makes me want to give up as it's ideally almost exactly the type of army I want to make:

Ah, ok. Yeah, I sort of understand that. It's how I feel when I look at Kierdale's Slaanesh stuff on the BnC; disgusted that I'll never ever be that good, but inspired to try anyway.
They appear to have some Cacodemon-type things, too. Are they the FW Plague Toads, do you know?

I'm not entirely sure, though I do feel that there is a Doom vibe to a lot of it. I have a feeling that a ton of green stuff was used.

Well, i mean, they may or may not have used proffesionals for their armies (Commisions) etc. but frankly the only thing that you should get from looking at it is inspiration.

Well it is like you know that no matter how you train, or put on weight you are never going to make it the heavy weight division. And everything that is not heavy weight is meh, only a bit better then women divisions. Much fewer sponsors, not being celebrated as much etc It can be rather discouraging, if you spent spent your 8 to 18 years training. Same with women and ballet, train for 7 years, then they check your proportions and if they are wrong you are informed that you just more or less wasted your time, and you can maybe dance in a province theather, if you find a second hand school to teach you.
If you have to kill, then kill in the best manner. If you slaughter, then slaughter in the best manner. Let one of you sharpen his knife so his animal feels no pain.

I can only speak for myself, but it does discourage me (to an extent) to see minis produced to a quality that I could never hope to emulate, even if I were willing to dedicate the time to learning. Which I'm not.
Especially so when others can crank out superb mini after superb mini on a near daily basis, while I have been working on two Chariots for over a year.

Granted the Slaanesh chariot is a TERRIBLE model to build and paint i heard.
