The dark behind the eyes.

I liked the flavour of some of the Ynnari artefacts and warlord traits, but they didn't really fit with my usual DE army so I added a small, Ynnari detachment.

Poison Tongue Kabal Battalion (+5CP)
- Archon w/ Huskblade, Splinter Pistol - 76
- Archon w/ Venom Blade, Splinter Pistol - 72
- 2 Lhamaeans - 30
- 5 Warriors w/ Blaster - 47
- 5 Warriors w/ Blaster - 47
- 5 Warriors w/ Blaster - 47
- 5 Warriors w/ Blaster - 47
- Ravager w/ 3x Disintegrator - 125
- Ravager w/ 3x Disintegrator - 125
- Venom - 65
- Venom - 65
- Venom - 65
- Venom - 65
- Venom - 65

Ynnari Craftworld Spearhead (+1CP)
- Yvraine - 132
- Swooping Hawk Autarch w/ Power Sword, Splinter Pistol, Reaper Launcher, Banshee Mask, The Hungering Blade - 117 Warlord (Lord of Rebirth)
- 5 Dark Reapers (inc. Exarch) - 170
- Support Weapon w/ D-Cannon - 70
- Support Weapon w/ D-Cannon - 70

(1500pts; 9CPs)

Yvraine will mainly be buffing/protecting the Reapers and Support Weapons. One or both Archons can ride in the Venom with the Lhamaeans (unless I want one to stay behind and buff the Ravagers). The Autarch will probably do his own thing.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Also, I've never used Support Weapons before, are they any good or would I be better off using a different HS unit to supplement my DE? (I was really just looking for something cheap to go with the Autarch and Reapers).

Why have Lhamaeans? Buffing venoms?

You have read the Ynnari new rules, yes?

The Lhamaeans are to accompany the 2 Archons in a venom. If the Venom is downed, then they can suffer any casualties, and in combat they hit on 3s (2s from turn 3) rerolling 1s, and wound on 2s with rolls of 4+ inflicting Mortal Wounds.

I have. Why?

Nice catch on the lhameans, I still want to run a venom with 4 of them + an archon as an elite assassin unit (rule of three doesn't really apply in my meta, especially for a 15 pt model).

I like your murder autarch, but I'm not sure if buffing 5 dark reapers is enough to justify yvraine. She doesn't do much for the cannons either. Maybe try to boost the reaper unit a bit?

If swapping is an option, then I'd suggest turning the spearhead into an outrider with 2x3 shuripult windriders and 6 spears. Spears benefit the most from ancestor's grace (both in shooting and in melee), and these units are fast enough to keep up with the rest of your force (well, apart from yvraine herself).

I've used 3 of them with an Archon previously. They can be pretty nasty and it's one of the few benefits of running Poison Tongue.

Well, I'd happily drop her entirely but unfortunately I need to have at least one Ynnari character in order to play Ynnari at all.

I could try and find the points for a 2nd Dark Reaper unit in place of one of the cannons?

The issue (as you already alluded to) is that I think the jetbikes will end up outrunning Yvraine, to the point that she's no longer able to buff them.

Are Dire Avengers or Striking Scorpions any good?
