I don't even play Space Marines anymore, but I'd still have to say my old favorite was the Terminator Chaplain.

However, they kind of lose their epic-ness next to Primaris though. Some of the primaris characters are really cool looking too. I think if they do some Agressor-armor characters, I'd have get a small detachment of Space Marines again.

boss Zag, even the old metal one he was at the tiem and still is an extremely dynamiclaly posed model. he is also jsut very orky, mechanical legs that act as a power weapon, sword in hand and rocketing into combat. (even his pistol has a blade on it!)

Centurions really are a contentious choice aren't they?

Honorable mention to the basic Marine Dreadnaught and the Redemptor.

I think crimson hunters are the best looking models in the game.

It’s weird how much tastes vary. I find it near impossible to pick a favourite model but none of the ones listed so far would be any where near my top ten. It really is in the eye of the beholder.

Right now I would pick the stompa. I love the ORKS and when that came out it was amazing and to see it on the battlefield now it still makes me giddy.

Baneblade is very similar wmoti9ns for me too though so a close second. Built two of those things out of cardboard and had a Forgeworld one before that plastic beauty came out.

I'm a big fan of the Custodes jetbikes, and of the custodes dragon in general (though I find thier foot wear a bit clunky)

Also I really, really like the rogue traders.

Though in general Id hazard that some of the most interesting model stuff is happening on the fantasy side of things.

The 2nd ed hive tyrant, preferably with a barbed strangler. Those old nids are what drew me to the hobby, and the tyrant is the best of them imo (the old lictor is a close second).

Not sure I'd call it my favorite, but a serious call out to the new CSMs. they're absolutely gorgous, the amount of detail on a basic troop model is nutso. does make prepping my army a bit slow at times but... damn they're looking nice

Opinions are not facts please don't confuse the two

The Stompa is a gorgeous model, no question. I'd never buy one even if I did play orks because I'd scratch build any ork vehicle I wanted because having two trucks that look like they came off the same assembly line isn't at all Orky, but that's a different thing.

The boxnaught is magnificent. There are a ton of phenomenal models from throughout the ages, but the boxnaught is so crude and so balanced at the same time.

Other favorites:
Ye olde Eldar Warp Spiders and metal Avatar
The modern Hive Tyrant on foot
A number of the 2nd Ed Space Marine characters
The entire GSC range is really cool
I have yet to see the current Lord of Change in person, but I like it a lot.

And They Shall Not Fit Through Doors!!!

Really like the limited edition space marine captain with power fist and boltgun, so iconic and cool. Either that or the forgeworld broadsides that they no longer make... Loved those

My stompa is the only one in my narrative, so couldn’t have two, but if I did couldn’t have two look the same, pose and everything. Weird.

I don’t mind two trucks looking similar, I have a bunch from the kit with various differences. I think if a mek built a good design for a truck he would build it again again unless someone paid extra to have it rediesigned fancy. Never liked this idea of ORK stuff just being nailed together scrap. I think a good mek would have a internal catalogue of designs hpthat he new would work and he could sell to allow time and materials for more experimental stuff.

As far as vehicle goes, I agree. In terms of infantry, I would go for ork nobz. This kit is awesome and frankly pretty damn cheap by GW standards.
