And a walkthrough:

Genuinely excited! If this is just like Wildlands, then sign me up! The free content released for Wildlands over the last few months have all been building up to this, with the new game taking place on a private island owned by SkellTech or however it is spelled, run by some Steve Jobs expy who deals in weapons instead of overpriced hardware. Shame they already put such a massive spoiler in the trailer though.

Here's hoping it has the same amount of character customisation as the previous game and that Karen also makes a return, we could do with more of her briefings.

This could be decent, sorta fell of the Wildlands train a while back. But the trailer was nice I have to say!

I really really enjoyed Wildlands (seriously it surprised me how much fun I was having), and am very much looking forward to this one.

Gathering the Informations.

On that note, Wildlands is currently $15USD on Xbox. Doesn't include the Season Pass--but from my understanding, only "Fallen Ghosts" is really worthwhile?

Breakpoint is a fascinating concept to me. Plus...Bernthal!

Yes, avoid the first season pass, as half of it is not worth getting. Fallen Ghosts, while reusing the map of the main game, does introduce a new faction with their own troops and some new kit, well worth playing through for the new mission types and challenges brought on by mercs who are mobile jammers and invisible to the eye. Narco Road on the other hand is wholly based around the rather poor driving mechanics and tries to be a poor man's GTA where you need to do stunts and whatnot, without having any AI around to revive you, as vets of the game know, when driving a bike across cross country, you will be thrown around a lot and need to be rezzed.

The other season passes are also not worth getting if you are not into the Ghost Wars multiplayer section of the game.

Every singleplayer mission released post-launch has been added in for free to the game though, so thankfully they got that right, especially as some of these missions were building up towards this game!

Breakpoint looks good, it's a bit jarring to see so much high-tech stuff all of the sudden, as the previous game was, magical drones aside, pretty grounded in the present day technology wise. I especially like the idea that if someone goes loud, it doesn't mean the whole squad is immediately revealed to the enemy, making sneaking in and getting the job done even better if others can provide a good distraction.

I just hope that the character customisation is as good as with Wildlands, not a fan of the newly bulked up Nomad myself.

Honestly the trailer made me wish we could just get a good open world Splinter Cell game along similar lines XD

I did like Wildlands, the game that started giving me hope that Ubisoft had learned a few things in the previous years. I hope this one offers the same level of map freedom. For me most of the fun in Wildlands was the stupid stuff that you could mix yourself up in XD

It’s a live service, looter shooter with random weapon stats and weapon/item construction, no ai team mates and survival elements.

It is in no way a ghost recon game at worst it’s a reskinned The Division 2 with vehicles. At best it’s a check box of elements that Ubi considers popular at the moment and lead to maximum monetisation.

Your last point is especially laughable and comical, because not only the 7th ed Valkyrie shown dumber things (like being able to throw the troopers without parachutes out of its hatches, no harm done) - Irbis

They said it has more weapons than wildlands, but I have not seen any info on how you get those weapons/mods, I dont think its true that its a reskinned Div 2 with survival elements, lets wait and see

They announced more about the progression system which seems to have been lifted from The Division 2 as you have GS(Gear Score) and colour coded weapon drops to grind.

Still sounds more like a divison dlc than an actual Ghost Recon game but on the plus side they bowed to player pressure and brought the ai teammates back into the game in a future patch.

The down side is they cannot change the CGI footage in the intro in time so your original team are dead anyway, also find the new voice for nomad a little annoying. Given the sate of the game it's ironic that apparently the original Nomad is now working on The Division 2.

I find it really bizarre that they'd put Division mechanics in a Recon game. They already have Division for a gear grind shooter. Do they really need a second?

Disappointing if true. One of the things I enjoyed about Wildlands was that while guns have their own stats, they could be used from start to end of the game without needing to find a better version of it. All you had to do was hunt it down and any upgrades (sights, grips etc) you want to slap onto it and you're golden.

I'm wondering if some wires got crossed somewhere and people are confusing Ghost War stuff with the campaign.
